Villa Sofia

Seaside bed and breakfast amid the Barösund archipelago.

On the nostalgic ferry ride across the strait to Villa Sofia, you can enjoy the fresh smell of the sea breeze and leave your worries behind. Originally built in 1925 to serve the archipelago area as a village school, Villa Sofia’s comfortable premises now offer accommodation and delicious meals and host courses, retreats, celebrations, conferences, evening get-togethers and other events throughout the year.

Villa Sofia has been renovated respecting history and ecological principles. The main building of Villa Sofia houses accommodations as well as spaces for celebrations and meetings. The yard area holds the new Villa Saga building with more accommodations. Sleep soundly and treat yourself at the atmospheric reservation-only restaurant Cafe Sofia or the summer cafe.

Enjoy the soothing warmth of the Louhi smoke sauna and refresh yourself with a dip in the sea afterwards. Villa Saga´s electric sauna and outdoor hot tub are perfect for couples, families and groups to relax with some bathing. We can also provide you with ideas for activities.
